Canine head and neck model with jugular vein and blood pump.
Anatomically correct the head and neck of the dog, with replaceable jugular vein patch on one side. The vein patch has skin, fat and muscle layers to give a more realistic feel when inserting the needle.
Blood is circulated through the vein by our Holsim Blood Pump to simulate the heart pumping. When inserting the needle, a realistic resistance is felt under the skin.
When pressure is applied, the vein bulges for students to see where to insert the needle.
