This anatomically correct intramuscular injection block has conductive silicone patches embedded under the skin behind the ear.
When the correct injection point has been achieved, a buzzer sounds, and the LED light turns green. There is also an option to have the buzzer off while the student is training, when they believe they’re at the right point of injection, the tutor may switch the buzzer on to see if the student is correct.
This anatomically correct pig ear model has a palpable silicone lateral auricular vein running through the ear which connects to our Holsim Blood Pump. The ear can be folded to expose the vein for needle insertion.
